Wardrobe staple: That perfect midi skirt and sheek blouse

Preeti Tomar Fashion & Beauty

Hellozzz Everyone,

Apologies for being invisible for so long. Had been really busy with workshop and was little lazy too due to summers. Believe me or not I was lazy to the extent that I was actually living in lounger pants, PJ’s or shorts all this while. Today’s is an outfit post which was shot like last month but kept procrastinating posting it. Wore this black floral printed midi skirt precisely rose print with a white blouse. This midi skirt looks so sheek as its full circle pleated skirt with right amount of flare. The blouse has lace insert with pearl detail, lace collar and cuffs, actually it was the part of the collection designed by me in 2013 for koovs.com . To complete the look wore black animal accent heels and a beaded clutch bag. Kept minimal accessories with just one big silver ring. Sometimes I treat my lipstick as…

This Summer its all about Candy Colours

Preeti Tomar Fashion & Beauty

Hola Everyone,

I am back with another outfit post. You know I love bright colours a lot and usually dress up wearing at least one thing strikingly bright in the whole ensemble. Just neutrals are way too boring for me. I love candy and acid bright colours especially in summers, I am kind of a girl who actually exploits the colour wheel, but who cares as long as I enjoy what I wear.

Today I am wearing a bright hue orange and sea green cowl dress from my label. This print block dress is made of very light Georgette fabric and appropriate for summer outings with friends. Cowl drape is adding much-needed day time fun to this outfit. My Spring/summer 2015 collection is inspired from Baroque architecture and I had customized baroque motifs to suit my aesthetics. Therefore the bodice of this dress is printed in one such print. I don’t…

Hello lovely people

Hope all of you are doing good. If you had chanced upon my last post then you must know my love for midi skirts and dresses. I find them apt for work and casual dressing. I wore this stone blue box pleated midi dress the other day at work. To break monotony of this outfit I accessorized with reddish/pink macramé belt. To add some fun element to otherwise solid dress I paired it with ditsy printed sneakers and finished the look with a red sling bag.

Fascinating Sixties vibes with polka dots & pencil skirt

Preeti Tomar Fashion & Beauty

Hello Peeps,

I hope you all are doing good. I am back with my another outfit post. As you know length of the season is midi length. I am so much in love with midi skirts and dresses as its very comfortable and easy to pull off this chick trend. You know what, I am very much in love with polka dots since my childhood. It gives me those fascinating sixties vibes. Its my secret wish if I could go back in sixties and flaunt those boxy silhouettes, psychedelic prints, dramatic eyes as well as witness rising of mod fashion and hippie culture. I wonder how people might have felt like in those days. Anyhow I can only fascinate about it and lets come back to the topic, I wore this fuchsia pink polka dots shirt with black self patterned pencil skirt for Sunday brunch. I accessorized with just few rings  and…

OOTD: Slouchy pants for those lazy brunches

Preeti Tomar Fashion & Beauty

Hello Lovely People,
How you all are doing, I am little relaxed now since I am sorted with my work and working on holiday collection. Sometimes I enjoy being in my shoes (being a designer), at times I get stressed out due to attrition of manpower and other factors. But over all I love creating new designs, I find my solace in designing. Those happy emails, enquiry about what’s going to be there in my new collection keeps me going as a brand and designer. So coming back to today’s outfit, although I wore it on Saturday for a brunch with hubby. Wore these coral slouchy relaxed fit pants with a sheer cream coloured loose-fitting blouse and finished the look with a chain strap bag, black heels with animal print accents, a big ring and pendant. I feel comfortable in loose clothing and over the years it has been an…

Going Fusion way : Block printed breezy palazzo pants

Preeti Tomar Fashion & Beauty

Hellozz Lovely people,

I hope all of you are doing good. I am good too except the fact I am on my toes these days, trying to push things in fast forward mode. My week was little hectic as I was busy in sending my collection to stores.Today its my second outfit post, got overwhelming response to my first outfit post. Thanks to each one of you for love and support.

Yesterday weather was very pleasant here in Delhi after some showers, so I wanted to wear something flowy, airy, breezy to enjoy the spirit of the pleasant drizzling spring day. I kept the outfit in complete spring mode and paired these blue coloured floral block printed cotton palazzo pants with a crushed cotton silk button down shirt. I never iron these cotton silk shirts as I like them crushed with obvious creases. I love yellow colour to the core and…

Style Scrutiny: Best Dressed actresses at Filmfare Awards 2015

Preeti Tomar Fashion & Beauty

Howdy Peeps,

Big Hello to everyone and apologies for being invisible for so long on the blog. I was actually very busy and bit lazy throughout January. Lots of action was happening at workshop last month and still continued. As you know January is synonymous with Bollywood Award Ceremonies, of course they need their gala time too. So today’s post is about best dressed actresses at recently concluded 60th Filmfare awards. Sorry we can’t help it but have to take a close watch on who wore what !! So Let’s begin style scrutiny.

When it comes to best dressed Indian celebrities first name pops up in my mind is none other than glamorous diva Sonam Kapoor. So today I am revealing this secret that I like most of her looks, therefore she tops my list here as well. It’s no secret she opts for Anamika Khanna quite often when it…
